When my husband and I moved in almost two years ago, <section removed to comply with terms> Let's just things has not improved but it has actually gotten worst.

When we complained <removed> about the windows not locking/closing properly, her excuse was the weather. We also wanted new blinds when we first moved in but it never happened. She was just making a list but really had no intentions of doing it. The only thing she was smart enough not to rent the upper floors to people with children because of the noise.

The property manager, <removed> is not any better. I asked her about the stuff that needed to be fixed and she said there's a schedule, well I never got a schedule to get things fixed. She started renting to families with children in the upper floors and when tenants complained about the noise, it just falls on deaf ears. She would sent out a letter addressed to everyone about the noise but doesn't enforce the rules. It's bad enough that you hear people walking through the hallway. <removed> is now the caretaker. I don't really know what he does because I barely see him fix things or clean things. He's barely here.

We can't wait to finish our lease and get out as soon as possible. Do not rent here. You've been warned.

My small family & I have searched this area for a suitable place to call home. I work for the school division and attend University part time so we needed something affordable. We came upon this 2 bedroom apartment at 240 Jamison in February, which was recently renovated, freshly painted, with new kitchen counters, cabinets & flooring, & all new appliances with built in microwave. The thought of cooking in a brand new kitchen with a brand new oven was very appealing. :) The bathroom has been completely updated with modern facilities & new flooring. The storage & closets in the unit are very roomy, with additional onsite storage available for our bikes etc. We have hardwood floors throughout the rest of our suite which makes for easy cleaning. We were sold on it at first viewing. :) We met with the Landlord the next day to submit our application & financials. She was very proficient & accommodating in that we had our acceptance for leasing after employment & reference checks were complete that same day!! :) We had access to our new suite upon lease signing so we could schedule cable, Internet, wifi service ASAP. The landlord was able to accommodate us in a 6 month lease. :) I was not sure if we would stay during the winter months due to the street parking only with lack of plug-ins. We will see. It's a great area to live in with all we need in close range. The one draw back I felt was that each suite cannot control their own temperature as there is only 1 main thermostat for the block. I found it very warm most of the time but with the new windows & screens, we were able to make our suite comfortable for us no problem. I have recommended this apartment block to 8 friends already. :)

New Owners as of November 2012, completely renovated building, new management company, clean freshly painted 1&2 bedroom apartments with new appliances. Suites are large at 800 and 620 sqft. Bedrooms are long with double closets. You can easily add a work desk or make up station in your bedroom.
