There are so many things to complain about with this apartment. For starters, the floors are warped, creaky and ugly as sin. The floors that don’t suck are carpeted, which is a terrible idea in an apartment. Moving on from the floors is the doors. The only doors in my apartment that close are the bathroom door and the front door. The other 4 doors (which is an insane amount of door for such a small space) have no knobs and just don’t close in general. Aesthetic-wise, it’s definitely not up to standards. Botched paint jobs, peeling ceiling, and everything that hasn’t been painted over is tinged with an old blackness that isn’t mold, but some sort of Winnipeg-brand disgustingness. The most glaring issue, however, is the temperature. If you’re not on the brink of freezing to death, you’re trapped inside a slow cooker. There is no moderation with the temperature. It gets up to 28° with the heat on and down to 13° with the heat off. I blame it on the windows, which are cracked, have no screens, so dirty you can barely see out of them, and so drafty they practically act as fans. We had them insulated for the winter. They’re still drafty. The apartment also has no space to put anything. We had to stack our toiletries on the toilet and the edge of the bathtub. I heard there are bedbugs in other suites but not mine. Haven’t seen any mice but definitely heard them, and I’ve never seen a cockroach in this apartment or in real life. The only good thing about this apartment is how convenient it is. You don’t have to pay for the water and it’s close to everything. There are about 8 apartments in this building and only around 3 of them aren’t crackheads. Everyone smokes. The entire place reeks of cigarettes and weed. But if you can ignore all that, be my guest to reside in one of the worst apartments in Winnipeg.

It's pretty much a dump. Most of the building seems to be filled with drunks/drug addicts who scream at each other. Walls are very thin. A lot of cold drafty air through all windows and near the walls, through the floors somehow. The floors are warped and all proportions are twisted. You could roll a ball down your hallway. Bed bugs were a problem earlier in the year but I haven't seen any for a while now, after being treated. The windows are very thin, so it's very loud at night. Hard to get sleep sometimes -- the volume of the street seems to be just as loud as it'd be if you were sleeping outside. Same with the temperature, when the heat doesn't get turned on for a few days at a time. Avoid if you have any other options.
