Reviewer says...
- Recently renovated/converted from Yellow quill college.
- Modern interior but poor workmanship.
- Building regularly maintained/cleaned, but residents are filthy so it quickly turns into a mess.
- Loud neighbours, noise travels a lot through walls and hallway. You will know who's having sex, who's watching what, and where people are going after their hours long pre-game.
- Baseboard heating works alright and ERVs bring in fresh air regularly.
- Laundry room contains 2 sets of machines, only one of which regularly works. Pens exploding in the drier and massive amounts of dog hair will discourage use.
- One small Ikea closet is provided, but storage space is sorely lacking. This is clearly evident as residents will use the hallway to store shoes and leave stinking garbage out for hours.
- Building has secure entrances, with monitoring. Also camera monitoring parking lot.
- Stand alone A/C unit does not keep up with heat in the summer and cannot be left unsupervised for more than a few hours, as the drain will quickly fill up any pail have.
- parking lot is tiny and hard to maneuver, parking spaces are also tiny and door dings are common. In the winter, you are expected to shovel your own spot, but the slope in the parking lot makes it hard to get out with most vehicles.
- Neighbourhood is iffy at best. Sirens can be heard every hour on some days. screaming fights, fireworks, and horns/car alarms are not uncommon. Questionable people hang out below the bridge and in the bushes near the river at all hours.
