I think this building is great. The staff is very nice and courteous. I had some issues with some things broken in my unit and the sexy maintenance man fixed it right away and looked very good while doing it. There was some issues with the a/c in the summer due to a transformer blowing but was up and running within a few days after. There are 3 new elevators now so wait times are minimal and there has been a new roof put on. There are new boilers and chillers being installed right now so heating and cooling wont be a problem anymore. All I can see is that Timbercreek is actually dumping hundreds of thousands of dollars into the building and that is good. There are so many nice people that live here and all the dogs that I see are all good animals. If they could only find out who is constantly ripping notices off in the elevators and writing all over them (terrible grammar I might add) the place might not get such bad reviews.

Dear Friends !
33- Hargrave Street Winnipeg , Before you renting this apartment please be aware that building has many issue and the managment dont give attention to your call . I have been staying in ince almost 2 years on 23 rd floor ,,, Water damage roof leaking almost 5 times and damges many item and accrding to them insurance not covered , fire alarma almost every few days , smoking all over in building , they dont even clean eleveators and parking at all . we call emergency line and reporetd this morning that water has busted above the roof no one come in room to clean or have to fixed its took them to stop water almost 5 hours !
Thank finaly we are moving end of the Jan End 2018 .

Dont cosider this place is worth to live now , the managment are very sweet at the signing for leased but later no one care about your request ,

Long story short, the building had become unlivable due to no fresh air, thick marijuana smoke day and night, broken appliances that weren't fixed correctly time after time, water damage to car in lot, elevators broke, water turned off regularly, heat and cooling faulty, partying neighbors, mail being stolen from broken latch on door, and managers that just smile and nod but do nothing, and abusive upper management that scream and threaten to evict you for complaining to them. We bought a house and said we needed 2-3 days more to get out and came to the agreement with managements approval that the rent would be cut off, but we had an extra 48h to get out. We returned 2 weeks later and walked around the building to see if things like the elevator and graffiti had been fixed, and noticed that there was already a tenant having a party in our old suite on a week day in the middle of the day, drunk people slamming doors and clogging up the elevators to go to the foyer and bring more trash in. A few months down the road we start getting collection calls for that last month of rent that we weren't there for, and the new tennant was already moved in. Plus they agreed to refund our damage deposit but never did. Most recently they were in the news for having broken air conditioners on a plus 34.5 day and as always having no parts in stock, and taking almost 3 weeks to fix it, so some tenants with babies had to pay for HOTELS!. So even if you do move out, this place will continue to haunt you, you have been warned.

We've only been here since August, but have seen so many people come and go (including management) and have encountered so many issues. Water gets turned off frequently, elevators are super slow and constantly break down even before their renovation project (their permits are also expired), fire alarms go off a few times a month, our parking stall is constantly flooded with pools of gross water (we've contacted management about it and nothing has been done), vandalism everywhere (piss, sh*t, vomit, beer cans, cigarette butts, garbage, graffiti, etc.), frequent homeless people in the foyer sleeping and SMOKING there during the night (we've contacted management and I know other tenants have voiced their concern over this, but nothing has changed.), heater is breaks often, AC frequently breaks (or resets? it will work for a week and then break down again) they won't even turn on the AC until we're all baked to a crisp apparently. We've sent in multiple requests and have emailed the higher ups about it, but have been told they will not turn it on until the weather isn't near 0. Sure, that would be fine if all of us had windows, but we do not. It's a problem when we're sweating, waking up at 3AM because it's so hot, and your dog has a high chance of having a heatstroke. There are also people who wait by the entrances to try to get in with your key, this is NOT safe. There is absolutely no security presence in this place. I would NOT recommend staying here, especially if you have a family. I hope we'll be able to find a better place soon.

<section removed to comply with terms> It seems like there are different set of staff working in the building every month... Also,
the building seems to always be in crisis mode... There is clearly NO scheduled maintenance system but rather a catastrophe based repair system that always impacts the tenants with ZERO compensation. A perfect example of this was this past Christmas when there was no hot water for HALF the building on Christmas Eve and Day!!! Like WTF!!! And no compensation for anybody, Ever!
The rent at 33 is also pretty expensive, with rates increasing every year. Yet there service is seriously on the decline. Don't be fooled by the nice modern look of the suites. There are TONS of maintenance; air quality issues and water problems. STAY AWAY!
